专利说明:
[0001] The present invention relates, in general, to motor vehicle radars and relates more particularly to a radar support. Radar means, in the context of the present description, any type of distance detector or obstacle mounted on a vehicle. Most motor vehicles today are equipped with driver assistance radars. To ensure their function, be it parking assistance, collision avoidance alert or distance control, they are preferably positioned at the front of the vehicle. [0002] These radars have a beam narrow enough to be retracted at the rear of the grille and do not cross any terrain that could falsify their detection. In a desire to continuously improve the accuracy of the radars, the beams used are becoming wider, and their ability to scan more and more. The opening of these beams imposes the change of position of their source. The radar must be placed at a position from which the path taken by the beam presents no obstacle. The only location that meets this constraint is as close to the front of the vehicle. However, at this new location, another difficulty must be overcome. The front of the vehicle is strongly exposed to shocks. In particular, consideration should be given to the consequences of a small-scale shock, such as collisions involving a pedestrian or any other obstacle of similar size. These collisions are weak enough to damage only locally the front of the vehicle but are also strong enough to risk damaging the radar, in the case where it is placed in close proximity to the front of the vehicle. [0003] The radar, which is in a fixed position, can be, according to the violence of the shock, deformed or considerably deteriorated. Therefore, it is necessary to put in place a device for protecting the radar in the event of a low amplitude shock. The radar must be able to move, and more precisely to move from its position closer to the front face, to a new position further back. Property damage can be avoided. [0004] The object of the invention is therefore to remedy these drawbacks and to propose a carrier for vehicle radar arranged as close as possible to the front face. The support combines stiffness and flexibility to ensure both the accuracy of the radar detection during operation, and the ability to be erased in case of impact. [0005] It is therefore proposed a vehicle radar support comprising a main element and a reception element, the main element comprising two parts, the first part being able to cooperate with the reception element situated at the front of the vehicle. vehicle, the second part being able to cooperate with the radar. [0006] In addition, the two parts of the main element are joined by at least one retractable tab. It may also be provided that the tab retracts under a force of at least 80 daN. Advantageously, the shape of the tab is accordion type. [0007] Even more advantageously, the parts of the main element are joined by three folding tabs. Preferably, the home element is located at the rear of the logo which is located at the front of the vehicle. This location is the closest available from the front of the vehicle and allows for accurate detection. At this position, the beam, although wide, does not cross any terrain specific to the vehicle that could distort the detection. According to another characteristic of the invention, the reception element is steep. Although in the illustrated embodiment the support is able to retract under a force of at least 80 daN, the support must be free of any vibration that could alter the operation and accuracy of the radar. According to another characteristic of the invention, the vibratory frequency of the main element is 50 Hz. This value is chosen so as to ensure both the stiffness of the element and its flexibility in order to allow the legs to shrink under an effort of at least 80daN. Advantageously, the reception element is made of plastic. Alternatively, the receiving element may be made of metallic material. The main element can also be plastic. According to an alternative embodiment, the main element may be made of metallic material. In another embodiment, the main element and the host element may be monoblock. In this case, the assembly is preferably plastic. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle comprising a support for radar. Other objects, advantages and features will become apparent from the following description, given purely by way of illustration and with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the front of a vehicle; comprising a support according to the invention; and - Figure 2 is a perspective view of the main part 25 of the support according to the invention. In the remainder of the description, the terms "longitudinal", "transverse", "vertical", "forward", "rear", "left" and "right" refer to the usual orthogonal reference frame of motor vehicles, shown in Figure 1, and comprising: - a longitudinal axis X, horizontal and directed from the front to the rear of the vehicle; - a transverse axis Y, horizontal, perpendicular to the axis X and directed from the left to the right of the vehicle which moves forward; 3037017 4 - a Z axis, orthogonal to the X and Y axes and vertical directed from bottom to top. As illustrated in FIG. 1, a radar designated by the general reference numeral 1 is disposed above a cross member 2 which is provided with the front of a vehicle 3. The radar 1 comprises two faces 1a and 1b. The face la is disposed facing and in the direct vicinity of a logo, not shown in the figures, which is provided with the front face of the vehicle 3. The face lb is disposed opposite a support 4, fixed at once to the front of the vehicle 3 and the cross 2. The beam opens from the face la and opens in the direction of the logo. The radar 1 also comprises three arms 23, 24 and 25. In the example illustrated, the support 4 comprises two sheet metal elements, a main element 5 which extends transversely and a reception element 6 which extends vertically. [0008] Moreover, the reception element 6 advantageously corresponds to a set of two pieces 7 and 8. The first piece 7 may itself be formed of four portions 7a, 7b, 7c and 7d in order to match the shape of the pieces. parts already present at the front of the vehicle 3. In this way, the vertical portion 7a 7a opens on the perpendicular portion 7b, which extends horizontally along the axis X to the portion 7c. Portion 7c is parallel to portion 7a. The portion 7b also opens on the portion 7d, which extends vertically along the axis Z, so as to be perpendicular to the portion 7a. Two fastening means 9 and 10 pass through the portion 7a and hold the piece 7 on the front of the vehicle 3. Advantageously, these means correspond to two bolts 9 and 10. Another bolt, not shown, passes through the portion 7d and strengthens maintaining the part 7 on the front of the vehicle 3. The second part 8 may be formed, as in the illustrated example 30, by two portions 8a and 8b. The portion 8a, parallel to the portion 7c, extends against the free end thereof. Fixing means, preferably two bolts 12 and 13 passing through the portions 8a and 7c ensure both the maintenance of the part 8 on the part 7, and the maintenance of these two parts 7 and 8 on the front of the car 3. The portion 8b, perpendicular to the portion 8a, extends opposite the cross member 2. Two fastening means, preferably two bolts 14 and 15, through the portion 8b and maintain the piece 8 on the cross member 2. [0009] For example, the main element 5 is shown in Figure 2. The element 5 comprises two parallel parts 16 and 17, arranged vis-à-vis. The first portion 16, which may be formed of three portions 16a, 16b and 16c, and the second portion 17, are secured by, advantageously, three tabs 18, 19 and 20. [0010] The tab 18 extends from the junction between the portions 16a and 16c of the first portion 16 to the side edge 17b of the second portion 17. The tabs 19 and 20 extend from the junction between the portions 16a and 16b to the side edge 17a, and the tab 19 is disposed in a plane greater than that of the tab 20, along the axis Z. The tabs 18, 19 and 15 are of the accordion type, in that they comprise respectively at least one fold line extending along the Z axis. The two portions forming each tab 18, 19 and 20, respectively, 18a and 18b, 19a and 19b, 20a and 20b, preferably extend in XY plane and join to form a reentrant angle, so that the angles of the tabs 19 and 20 advantageously face the re-entrant angle of the tab 18. The tabs 18, 19 and 20 confer a gap between the two parts 16 and 17. According to an alternative embodiment not shown, at least one of the legs 18, 19 and 20 may omprendre portions 25 forming an acute angle that faces or is opposite to at least one of the lugs 18, 19 and 20. According to another alternative embodiment envisaged, at least one of the legs 18, 19 and 20 comprises a fold line defining the top part of the portions of the tab considered, extending parallel to a Y axis. As illustrated, two orifices 21 and 22 are formed respectively on the portions 16b and 16c, so that fastening means pass through them and hold both the main element 5 on the receiving element 6 and the assembly 5 and 6 on the front of the vehicle 3037017 6 3. As illustrated in Figure 2, the means fasteners correspond to two bolts. Only the bolt 11, which passes through the hole 22, is shown. The second bolt, which passes through the hole 21, is not visible from this angle of view of the support 4. [0011] It can be provided that the main element 5 has three orifices 26, 27 and 28 formed on the second part 17, so that they are respectively traversed by the three arms 23, 24 and 25 of the radar 1. The arms 23, 24 and 25 hold the radar 1 on the main element 5. [0012] In the illustrated example, an opening 29 is provided to lighten the support 4. According to several variants not shown, and always for the purpose of lightening the support 4, the receiving element 6 and / or the main element 5 may be made of plastic. [0013] In another embodiment, provision may also be made for the receiving element 6 and the main element 5 to be one-piece. It is difficult to control the stiffness when the two sheet metal elements are monobloc. In this case, the assembly will therefore preferably be plastic. [0014] In the event of an impact at the front of the vehicle 3, the force causes the radar 1 to go backwards and causes the tabs 18, 19 and 20 to retract. The value of the re-entrant angles previously described increases, and the second part 17 of the main element 5 approaches the first part 16. The receiving element 6 and the first part 16 of the main element 5 remain as for they are fixed. The support 4 absorbs the energy of the impact thanks to the deformation of the legs of the main element 5, so as to protect the radar 1. Advantageously, such absorption of the energy of the shock promotes the damping of a pedestrian shock. Damage to radar 1 is reduced or even completely avoided. The same goes for the pedestrian, the radar thus not forming a hard point likely to cause injury in case of shock. It can be provided that the tabs 19, 20 and 21 take a shape other than the accordion type shape, to ensure their retractability always. For example, it will be possible to provide the second part 17 with slides, along which the sliding-type tabs attached to the first part 16 will be able to slide.
